1. Technical Field
This product is an indispensable product used in conjunction with an inverting shaker for the leaching toxicity test of heavy metals and semi-volatile organic compounds in the soil. It is also an equipment for leaching substances in the soil suitable for water immersion with a horizontal shaker.
2. Working principle
Using pressure, the sample with a clear initial liquid phase is filtered.
Three, components
The high-pressure filter is mainly composed of three parts: the base, the filter body and the top.
Four, use method
1. First, place a stainless steel support sheet on the base, and then a glass fiber filter membrane with a diameter of 142mm. Then place the filter body on the base, and lock it after aligning the grooves.
2. Pour the sample, align and lock the top groove. If the high pressure nitrogen cylinder connector is a quick connector, use a transparent hard tube to connect the cylinder to the high pressure filter inlet nozzle quick connector, which is very convenient, just plug it in. Butt joint; if the high pressure nitrogen cylinder joint is
Air nozzle. You can also install a stainless steel air nozzle on the inlet nozzle of the high-pressure filter, and use a white hose to connect the steel cylinder to the high-pressure filter. Close the safety relief valve at the top and place the receiving container at the bottom to start pressurizing.
3. At the beginning, add 10 psi, and maintain for 2 minutes after no liquid is discharged, then add 10 psi, and maintain for 2 minutes after no liquid is discharged, and so on, add up to 50psi (be careful not to exceed 60psi (1psi=6895Pa), otherwise Will cause danger). Maintain for 2 minutes until no liquid is discharged, that is, filtration is complete.
Five, matters needing attention
1. Under normal circumstances, the high-pressure filter should be equipped with a microporous membrane with a diameter of 142mm and a pore size of 0.6-0.8um when used with the flip oscillator.
2. When used with a horizontal oscillator, it is generally better to choose a 142mm microporous membrane with a pore size of 0.45um.
3. After the high-pressure filter is used, it should be cleaned and stored in a reasonable environment.
