The precautions for using a high shear mixer mainly include the following aspects:
1. Preparation before operation
Be familiar with the equipment: Before operation, you should first be familiar with and master the working principle and structure of the equipment, and understand the functions of each button and indicator light on the control panel.
Personal protection: Operators should wear labor protection equipment that meets the standards, including protective clothing, goggles, gloves, etc., to prevent material splashing or equipment failure from causing personal injury.
Equipment inspection: Conduct a comprehensive inspection of the equipment to ensure that the equipment and all connecting parts and accessories are not loose, cracked, worn, etc., and ensure that the grounding wire is reliable to prevent electrical accidents.
Environmental cleaning: Clean up flammable, explosive and dangerous items and other debris in the workplace to ensure a safe working environment.
2. Operation process
Material preparation: Before pouring liquid materials into the emulsifier, the machine must be heated to the set temperature (note that water should be added first and then heated). Before pouring materials, the machine must be stopped and all valves must be closed, and the pipelines must be cleared and ensured to be unobstructed.
Start the equipment: Turn on the power switch of the machine and start the emulsifier according to the preset program. During the startup process, do not change the factory preset parameters of the equipment at will unless there is a clear operating guide or guidance from professionals.
Parameter adjustment: According to the characteristics of the material, adjust the parameters such as stirring speed, temperature and time. Pay attention to controlling the working temperature to avoid overheating and burning of the material. At the same time, select appropriate working parameters to ensure that the material can be evenly dispersed and emulsified.
Operation specification: During operation, do not disassemble, modify or add any equipment parts. It is strictly forbidden to put your hands into the equipment, and do not hit the equipment casing with hard objects. The mixing of materials can be observed through the observation window.
3. Maintenance and care
Regular maintenance: Regularly maintain and maintain the equipment, including cleaning the residue inside the equipment, checking the connection of the electrical system, etc.
Cooling and inspection: Before maintaining the equipment, the power must be turned off and ensure that the equipment has completely stopped running. Maintenance and care work can be carried out only after the equipment has cooled down normally.
Lubrication and tightening: Tighten the screws regularly and check the lubrication of the equipment to ensure smooth operation of the equipment.
4. Safety precautions
Non-professional operation is prohibited: Non-operating personnel are prohibited from arbitrarily turning the control handle or electrical button to prevent equipment damage or personal injury caused by misoperation.
Abnormal situation handling: When equipment failure or abnormal situation is found, the equipment should be stopped immediately and the production manager or maintenance personnel should be notified in time for maintenance.
Prevent foreign matter from mixing: During the use of the emulsifier, measures to prevent foreign matter from mixing or emptying materials at will must be strictly implemented to avoid causing serious explosions and accidents.
No operation after drinking: Operators should stay sober and focused, and should not drink alcohol or other items that affect judgment and reaction to ensure physical and mental health.
