Introduction of the falling film evaporator
The liquid is feed into the top tube chamber of the falling film evaporator heater ,after the liquid distribution and film forming device ,the liquid is distributed into each heat exchange tube .
The film flow from the top to the bottom by the force of gravity ,vacuum and air flow .during the flow process ,the steam generated by the shell side heating medium is heated and vaporized, and the generated steam and liquid phase enter the separation chamber of the evaporator together, and the vapor-liquid is fully separated. Steam enters condenser condenser (single effect operation) or enters next effect evaporator as heating medium to realize multi-effect operation and liquid phase is discharged from separation chamber.
The main body of the falling film evaporator consists of single , double ,triple effect heaters, separators, hot pressure pumps, condensers, sterilizers, heat preservation pipes, material pumps, pumps and instrument cabinets. The equipment is made of high quality stainless steel
Features of the falling film evaporator
1.Afalling film evaporator have a higher evaporation concentration and a higher viscosity
2. the heat transfer coefficient of the solution is higher because of the film flow in the single pass evaporator.
3.short residence time, not easy to cause material deterioration, suitable for the treatment of heat sensitive materials.
4.the liquid retention is small, and the falling film evaporator can operate rapidly according to the changes of energy supply, vacuum, feed volume and concentration.
5.Low temperature evaporation can be used because the process fluid flows only under gravity rather than by high temperature difference.
6. the falling film evaporator is suitable for the foaming material evaporation and concentration. Because the feed liquid is evaporated in the heating tube, the vapor-liquid separation is formed. At the same time, at the bottom of the active body, the bulk of the feed liquid is withdrawn. Only a small part of the feed liquid and all the secondary steam enter into the separator to enhance the separation, and the whole process of the feed liquid does not form too much impact, thus avoiding the formation of the foam.
Application of the falling film evaporator
single effect evaporator or multi effect evaporator are widely used in medicine, food, chemical, light industry and other industries, such as water or organic solvent solution evaporation concentration. It can be widely used in the treatment of waste liquid in the above industries, especially for heat sensitive materials. The equipment is operated continuously under the condition of vacuum and low temperature, with high evaporation capacity, energy saving and low operating cost. And can guarantee the material in the evaporation process invariance.
